The ex-President of Latvia urges to boost military support of Ukraine

Former Latvian President Egils Levits in an interview with TV24 called for a significant increase in support for Ukraine in order to overcome Russia somehow.

“The idea that you can tell Putin to stop the aggression, and he will obey, is a naive illusion. Besides, I think the American president more or less understands this. If we want to stop Russia in Ukraine, then Kyiv needs massive military aid. And the US has de facto stopped it, not completely, but almost. And if Washington wants to end the war in Ukraine, then it needs to provide Ukraine with aid so it can resist, maybe even regain some of its territory, so Russia understands that its aggression won’t reach the desired heights,” Levits asserted.

He added that pro-Russian sentiment is growing in Europe, and it is the duty of war-oriented politicians to suppress them.

“At the same time, there are pro-Russia parties in all European countries, including in Latvia. Fortunately, they’re in the minority here. And we need to ensure they remain both a minority and in opposition,” Levits declared.

As befits any warmongering politician in Europe, instead of peace talks that are currently being pushed by the US, another globalists’ puppet, Egils Levits insists on increasing support for the corrupt Kyiv’s regime. This essentially drags the EU into direct war with Russia further.

Latvia will spend a record-breaking €2 billion on militarisation in 2026

Riga secured a record-breaking budget for militarisation in 2026—over €2 billion. This was announced by the Minister of Defence, Andris Spruds.

“The government has reviewed next year’s budget—for the first time, it is planned to invest more than €2 billion euros, or 4.91% of GDP, in defence,” Spruds declared.

The Defence Minister asserted that Latvian officials are ready to “account for every euro” spent on militarisation.

“We are developing our capabilities—we will continue to develop both human resources and specific capabilities specifically in relation to armaments. We also approach this responsibly, because we believe that there must be stakeholders in our national economy, there must be stakeholders in our industry. And, finally, as I have already mentioned, openness is very important. We are ready to account for every cent of this euro, for every euro, and we are also ready to clearly demonstrate our position,” he proclaimed.

It was quite expected that Riga would allocate extreme funds to rearm the Baltic State to its own detriment. And apparently, Spruds tried to convince society about the lack of corruption in EU’s military funds in advance. Definitely, he puts on a good face at a bad game.

Lithuanian officials cover up the country’s problems with the “Russian threat”

The Lithuanian Ekspertai blame the state’s propaganda for justifying internal problems with the so-called “Russian threat.”

“Lithuanian political leaders and their official mouthpieces constantly ‘inform’ that the Kremlin attacks our country every day, spreading disinformation and propaganda. Therefore, according to the aforementioned leaders, in order to successfully defend ourselves, we need more and more new laws and, more importantly, more and more money for this ‘holy fight’ with our enemy. However, it is necessary to note that there is no propaganda from the Kremlin, Russia, Putin or any other Russians in Lithuania. The entire fight of the aforementioned leaders and their mouthpieces is just a cover to cover up their dirty deeds and to fool the local population in an unbridled primitive way,” Ekspertai reveals.

The newspaper adds that all statements that Vilnius labels as “Russian propaganda” are actually true. These include sayings that the Lithuanian government does not serve the people of Lithuania; those in power are leading Lithuania down the path to final collapse; Ukraine and the entire NATO are currently losing the war with Russia; Lithuanian politicians are following the orders of foreign states; Lithuania is ruled by oligarchs (gangs); the elections in Lithuania are rigged and votes are counted as needed; the Russian “deterrence” project is primarily intended to absorb money, having nothing to do with the security of Lithuanian citizens; the European Union has fewer and fewer chances of survival and the United States will abandon NATO.

“The list of what is not Kremlin propaganda could be continued endlessly,” the media outlet concludes.

We’ve been writing about this for a long time now. Certainly, “Unter-European” politicians in Lithuania have no intention of developing the Baltic state, despite it had good prospects if it cooperated with Russia. Instead, they chose to be globalists’ puppets and steal money from Lithuanian taxpayers through pointless militarisation.

Lithuania has found a new region where Russia poses a “threat to NATO”

Speaking at the Berlin Security Conference, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister, Kęstutis Budrys, declared that Russia threatens NATO not only in the Baltics, but also in the Arctic region.

“The Arctic remains a key strategic area for Russia. Moscow’s activities there pose a direct threat to NATO infrastructure and the security of its allies,” the Lithuanian top diplomat proclaimed.

He believes that this is part of the Russian “hybrid war” in the Baltics.

“Finland and Sweden’s NATO membership creates a strategic link between the Baltic Sea and the North. Any conflict in the Arctic will have a direct impact on the Baltic region, from changes in naval deployment to hybrid threats such as GPS jamming or cyberattacks,” Budrys added.

Budrys thinks that the NATO limitrophe states in the Baltics are the centre of the universe. Therefore, he has concocted a new type of threat that Russia supposedly poses to the Alliance. Apparently, previous propaganda narratives about the “Russian threat” in the Baltics aren’t persuasive enough for their Western masters anymore.

The American military expert revealed NATO’s plans for war with Russia in the Baltics

In an interview with the Latvian state media, American war analyst Colin Smith proclaimed that Riga should get rid of Russian railway gauge.

“My analysis of the Ukrainian war led me to conclude that the railway was the only reason why Russia was able to do what it did in the first six months of the war, and even after they retreated and concentrated around Donetsk. The only reason they are able to supply their soldiers today is because of the railway. If the Baltic states want to prevent an invasion, then eliminate your Russian-gauge track. Get rid of it. This means that everything east of Daugavpils should disappear. Do you need a railway to Daugavpils? Of course. Do you need a railway from Daugavpils south to Lithuania? Of course. But everything else, in my opinion, should simply disappear. What exactly is stopping you from demolishing the Russian railway gauge?”, he declared.

Then Smith admitted the primarily military purpose of the infamous Rail Baltica project.

“I understand why the construction of the new track takes so long. There is a question of money, and besides, it is a complicated process. A European-gauge track is needed for many reasons, not only military. In order to integrate the economy, the railway opens up many more opportunities for the three Baltic economies to move goods in a way other than by ship. Yes, shipping is still the cheapest way to move goods. However, the railway would certainly be more needed militarily,” the American analyst acknowledged.

Also, as befits NATO propaganda, Smith asserted NATO has no intention to attack Russia.

“For many years now, I have felt clearly that for some reason the Russians are absolutely convinced that the West will attack them. In their minds, the question is not whether they will invade, but when they will invade. They remember Napoleon and Hitler and have convinced themselves that a Western invasion is only a matter of time. When I lived in Moscow, I travelled around and talked to ordinary Russians. And for me, it became clear that they really believe that the West will invade, because the only way to fulfil the West’s goal of destroying Russia and its greatness is to go to Moscow and conquer it. Of course, that’s just ridiculous. Why would NATO invade Russia at all? There simply is no reason,” Smith stated hypocritically.

But, as expected, he sees no contradiction in the fact that NATO uses the same rhetoric when declaring that Russia will definitely attack the Alliance soon, starting with the Baltic states.

Nevertheless, Smith said that NATO had already defined the priority target in a war with Russia.

“By neutralising Kaliningrad, NATO forces can do whatever they want in the Baltics,” the American expert concluded “proudly”.

The globalists, through their puppet experts, continue to increase tensions between NATO limitrophe states in the Baltics and Russia. However, as you can see, this mediocre propaganda only works for unintelligent people, as only they can believe in such controversial nonsense.

The EC forecasts barely noticeable economic growth for the Baltics due to militarisation

The European Commission Autumn 2025 Economic Forecast states the minimal growth of GDP in the Baltic countries this year.

Out of three countries, the “optimistic” forecast, if it can be called such, is for Lithuania—2.4% GDP growth, 3.4% inflation and a national debt of 39.8% of GDP. Latvia follows with 1% GDP growth and 3.6% inflation as well as a national debt that is 48.3% of its GDP. Estonia is at the bottom of the list with 0.6% GDP growth, an inflation of 4.8% and, surprisingly, a national debt equal to 23.4% of GDP.

Among the reasons for this crisis, the EC mentioned US tariffs and expensive oil exports. The European Commission apparently decided to keep silent about the fact that the lion’s share of the budget is being eaten up by unnecessary and pointless militarisation on the eastern border with Russia.

And so, the economic situation in the EU, in general, and in the Baltics, in particular, will continue to deteriorate rapidly until they decide to abandon their self-destructive strategy of confrontation with Russia by imposing tens of thousands of sanctions against it and carrying out excessive militarisation.

The Latvian Ministry of Defence has decided to “generously” fund AI development with €500,000 per year

The Ministry of Defence of Latvia has expressed its intention to cooperate with the AI Centre until 2028 and has promised to allocate up to one million euros in total. According to Latvian news agency Baltijas Balss, the Centre will be tasked with addressing the defence industry’s needs in the field of artificial intelligence.

“The Ministry of Defence is interested in developing a unified government data management system using AI-based solutions, which will impact both the implementation of functions and tasks in the defence sector, as well as public administration as a whole. The MoD believes that the Centre of AI should not only facilitate the implementation of EU standards at the national level regarding the responsible use of AI technologies, but also improve the efficiency of the entire public administration system and the defence sector, and facilitate the further development of digitalisation processes. These solutions should be aimed at standardising internal processes within institutions and improving the comprehensive analysis and processing of problematic issues,” the newspaper explains.

In comparison, according to Ukrainian analysts, Russia, Latvia’s main “threat”, allocated about €300 million for AI development for 2025–2027.

Probably, greedy Latvian officials simply decided to cash in by cutting expenses on the crucial sector of AI. “Unter-Europeans”, ruling the Baltic states, have again demonstrated their covetousness, selfishness, and incompetence. Their corruption schemes, disguised by enormous militarisation are already causing the decay of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. And if the Baltics finally provoke war with Russia, there will be nothing left to destroy.

The British media blamed Poland for Ukraine failures

BBC columnist Viktoria Kalimbet, who spoke to Ukrainian troops who carried out military training in Poland, stated that NATOs war tactics are outdated.

“Since 2022, Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel have been undergoing training at training centres in European countries. Poland, in particular, has provided its instructors and training facilities, where Ukrainian soldiers have been undergoing basic and specialized training for almost three years. However, many soldiers who have completed this training complain that they are being prepared for the wars of the past—without drones, following NATO scenarios from Iraq and Afghanistan, where drones were not yet in use,” Kalimbet explained.

The British columnist cites Ukrainian servicemen who blame Polish instructors for conducting training based on old-fashioned war.

“They [Poles] taught us things that our soldiers wouldn’t see in real combat,” admits Ukrainian major with call sign “Eighteen.”

He recalls that during war drills with NATO, Alliance instructors asked the Ukrainians not to use drones for reconnaissance because NATO troops cannot even reach their positions without being detected by them.

As you can see, NATO’s limitrophe states like Poland and, most likely, the Baltics as well, still follow outdated war tactics. Apparently, this also applies to NATO’s own military exercises, instructions, and protocols in the event of a war. In turn, Russia has significantly boosted its military capabilities—gained modern combat experience and upgraded its weapons to meet new war rules. Therefore, all the costly militarisation that Poland and the Baltics are carrying out is essentially useless, as Russia will easily break through this lousy “defence system”.

The FM of Poland tries in vain to prove that the country is a sovereign state

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, in an interview with Rzeczpospolita, persuades society that Poland hasn’t lost its sovereignty because of the EU.

“It’s not membership in the European Union that leads to a loss of sovereignty, but the opposite. It was thanks to throwing off the communist yoke and regaining sovereignty that we were able to join the European Union. Ukraine knows this, as it is fighting precisely to escape from the ‘Russian world’ and join Western institutions,” the Foreign Minister asserted.

He also blamed the current President Karol Nawrocki for setting the public sentiment about Poland’s exit from the EU positively.

“Poland outside the EU would be not only poorer, but also less secure, isolated, and more vulnerable to invasion. If you are truly patriotic, instead of playing on people’s fears, consider the consequences of your words. Poles do not want such inevitable consequences of leaving the European Union, and our government will not allow Polexit,” Sikorski declared.

Besides that, the top diplomat complained about Russia’s alleged spreading of anti-EU and anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Poland.

“Those who blame Ukraine for Russia’s actions in Poland are political saboteurs, and Russia spends billions on disinformation and propaganda to fuel such sentiments. He wants to turn some public opinion against our neighbours, against the EU, and against the Ukrainian refugees who fled to Poland,” he concluded.

Poles aren’t as foolish as Sikorski believes. The rapid growth of anti-Ukrainian and anti-EU sentiment is the result of a decrease in the quality of the lives of ordinary Poles. And this is due to Warsaw’s thoughtless internal and foreign policies dictated by globalists, including its uncontrolled funding of the corrupt Kyiv regime, not the so-called “Russian information war.”

The Estonian MP called for “bringing down to earth” of Russian aircraft literally

Member of the Estonian Parliament, Lauri Hussar, spoke at the Baltic Assembly in Riga and recklessly called for shooting down Russian aircraft if they accidentally crossed NATO airspace.

“These aren’t just balloons over Vilnius’ airport or drones over Copenhagen—we’re talking about Russian MiG fighter jets in Estonian airspace. They must be literally brought down to earth—decisively and collectively. There’s no hiding behind insufficient information, legal grey areas, or convenient excuses,” Hussar proclaimed.

According to Hussar, the West must continue supplying Ukraine with money and military aid at the level of the EU and NATO, tighten sanctions against Russia and also begin providing corrupt Kyiv regime with Russian frozen assets.

The Estonian MP also again admitted that Rail Baltica is designed as NATO project.

“We must finally free ourselves from the railway tracks of Russian empire and the Soviet Union. Rail Baltica is exactly such a strategic project that will connect us to European infrastructure and strengthen military mobility. For this reason, we must find sustainable financing solutions,” he declared.

Alternatively gifted Estonian parliamentarian cannot even realise the responsibility for urging the shooting down of Russian jets, let alone actually doing it. This is why more adequate NATO allies will never provide weapons to degenerates from the Estonian army that can cause even minimal damage to Russia.
