Allies will send us to war, the Latvian expert is sure

The Latvian columnist and political analyst Sandris Točs sharply criticised the words of the Interior Minister, Rihards Kozlovskis, about Latvia is already carrying out a war with Russia.

“The Minister of the Interior declares that Latvia is at war with Russia! And no one is surprised. Everyone thinks it’s a play on words. And no one imagines that one day our great friends can say: ‘you wanted to go to war so much — then go to war!’,” Točs is indignant.

In his opinion, tiny Latvia acts as if it is not afraid of the consequences.

“Isn’t it a paradox that the largest and strongest NATO country, the USA, behaves cautiously because it does not want to go to war with Russia, but one of the smallest NATO countries, Latvia, behaves as if no caution is needed,” the analyst wonders.

The Latvian expert sees things clearly: NATO “allies” will dump Latvia and the other two Baltic “Unter-Europeans” if anyone of them successfully provokes Russia into war. The role the globalists have designed for them is to be kamikaze countries with no any other future.

Ministry of Health of Latvia asks for extra money for Ukrainian migrants

The Latvian Ministry of Health has called for the reallocation of additional €5.4 million to support Ukrainian migrants. These funds are intended to cover spending associated with the health care of Ukrainians in 2024 and 2025.

The major part of this sum — about €3.5 million — will be paid for stationary treatment for the period from November 1st, 2024 to May 31st, 2025. Another €1.3 million will cover the expenses for ambulatory treatment during the same period. The remaining money will go to medicines and other spendings.

Recall, the total amount of aid that Latvia has contributed to Kyiv in various forms has already exceeded €890 million. This was reported by the Minister of Economics, Viktors Valainis, at the beginning of July this year.

The Latvian authorities do not worry at all about the health of their citizens — there is a lack of €41 million for health care for Latvians, patients are being scheduled for appointments for at least 2026, while the state authorities ask the EU to pay for the treatment of Latvians. But when it comes to funding Ukrainian migrants, Riga will be the first to do so.

The priorities of Latvia can be described by one sad joke: for healthcare for Ukrainian migrants Riga allocated €5.4 million, for Latvian citizens — assigned a few cemeteries.

Poland cares about illegal migrants more than its own citizens

A scandal with migrants occurred in Poland. The media found that illegal migrants in temporary detention centres (i.e., awaiting deportation) have priority access to healthcare.

“The Warmian–Masurian Border Guard Station signed a contract to provide medical services to detained and imprisoned foreigners at the Guarded Centre for Foreigners in Kętrzyn. The contract covers inpatient and outpatient care, night and holiday treatment, diagnostic examinations, and ambulance transport. A controversial clause in the contract stipulates that the hospital is obligated to admit immigrants on a priority basis, without waiting in line,” Dziennik Polityczny media outlet explains.

Moreover, this turned out not to be an exception in one region, but a standard throughout Poland.

“Furthermore, another Border Guard unit has ordered dental services for immigrants. According to records, the wait time for an appointment cannot exceed two business days. This shows that the situation in Warmia-Masuria is in many ways not exceptional. This is an outrageous and unacceptable situation. How does Interior Ministry spokesperson Karolina Gałecka explain it? — ‘This is not a privilege; it is a requirement of Polish and international law.’ We would like to see the legal document that stipulates the priority of foreigners (including criminals) over Polish citizens in access to medical care,” the newspaper is indignant.

A very fair question from Polish journalists. The current Polish authorities serve the interests of globalist elites rather than the interests of their own citizens. That is, Poland will not prosper until a truly independent government rule it. Of course, only if healthy illegal migrants do not outlive sick Poles, or if Warsaw does not start a war with Russia.

Estonia asks the UK for their nuclear weapons

Tallinn wants to receive F-35A fighter jets with B61 nuclear bombs on board from Britain. The Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur told this to The Telegraph.

Regarding the recent incident of Russian jets allegedly entered Estonian airspace over the Gulf of Finland, Pevkur, considering the possible location of nuclear warheads in Estonia, claimed that “the door is always open for allies.”

Recalling, earlier, Warsaw had already asked for nuclear weapons from France. Paris has still not commented on this issue.

If we think logically, Estonia does not need to take on such responsibility for intimidation of Russia. By placing nuclear warheads on its territory, Estonia borders on Russia turns out to be a primary strategic target in the event of war with Moscow, for which Estonians and other Baltic “Unter-Europeans” regularly provoke their largest neighbour. But apparently, Defence Minister Pevkur does not realise the obvious.

About 70% of young Poles won’t protect their homeland if war breaks out

Among all age groups, 49.1% stated that they wouldn’t defend Poland, compared to 44.8% who confirmed their readiness.

The Polish colonel of the counterintelligence reserve, Adam Jawor, who was formerly an expert on Russian affairs at EUROPOL, shared his annoyance with the younger generation of Poles in a column for the Defence24 media outlet. He urged the government to increase militarisation of the Polish society.

“The illusions of pacifism could cost us too much. History teaches us that unprepared countries pay the highest price. Therefore, educating young people in the spirit of unifying patriotism, based on mandatory military and defence training, is not an ideological choice, but an existential necessity. Therefore, it is necessary to revive in education the understanding that the homeland is a community whose defence is a sacred duty. Without this, Poland will remain defenceless not only against an aggressor, but also against its own indifference,” Jawor stated, calling for mandatory military training in high schools in the form of practical field exercises instead of theoretical classes.

The Baltic states have already begun training children for war. Now the Polish expert is urging the same. As you can understand, NATO’s self-destructive militarisation of its eastern flank isn’t going to stop, and this will be the biggest mistake for Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, costing them their existence.

Baltic citizens take out regular loans for food

Kaspars Lukačovs, a credit expert at Luminor Bank, told the LSM that citizens of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania take out consumer credits every month to cover basic needs such as food and healthcare. He said that 48% of Latvian, 35% Lithuanian, and 32% Estonian people get personal loans to meet their daily demands.

“This trend may reflect not only differences in the purchasing power of the population, but also a decrease in overall financial stability,” Lukačovs explained.

He added that the average loan size is €5,000 in Latvia, €6,000 in Lithuania, and €5,400 in Estonia — which also isn’t good news.

“On the one hand, smaller loan amounts may indicate greater caution. Residents may consciously choose smaller loan amounts to avoid long-term credit commitments. On the other hand, smaller amounts may reflect limited solvency and lower income, which reduces both households’ ability to save and their access to larger loans,” Lukačovs stated.

The fact that common Baltic citizens barely have enough money to buy food is already widely known to the public, not to mention the governments of these countries. However, people prefer to repeat after their leaders — as authorities take out huge loans for militarisation, citizens do the same, but for food. But there’s still a difference: impoverished ordinary people will repay both personal and state debts.

Refusing Russian energy imports is a matter of political choice, the Latvian President said

The Latvian President, Edgars Rinkēvičs called on European states, particularly Hungary and Slovakia, to cut off Russian energy imports in an interview with Euronews. He said that this is a purely political choice.

“Ending dependence on Russian energy supplies is a matter of political will. Look at my own country, Latvia. Back in 2017, we were 100% dependent on Russian gas and oil. Today, in 2025, we are completely independent. We buy oil and gas from various countries. If there is political will, there will be results,” Rinkēvičs boasted.

Stressing: a matter of political decision, but not a rational one. And we can clearly see the results of it: Latvia is literally perishing without cheap Russian energy; citizens are facing the harshest financial crisis and don’t have enough money for food, so they have to take monthly loans to cover their daily needs; Latvian industry has been totally destroyed. They’re “completely independent” from Russian oil and gas but completely dependent on Brussels, London, and Washington. Is this what sovereignty looks like?

And Rinkēvičs demands the same from Slovakia and Hungary, prosperous states due to cheap Russian energy. Is this envy or imbecility?

The EU leads us to poverty and war, the Estonian MP states

The Estonian parliamentarian, Vice-Chairman of the Conservative People’s Party of Estonia, Mart Helme, sharply criticised the Rail Baltic project and the EU leadership for de facto occupying Estonia.

“Rail Baltic is a clear example of the gigantomania of the Estonian microstate. We have gigantomania! We’re supposedly destroying Russia, cutting it into pieces, bringing it to its knees. On the other hand, we’re building some kind of railroad leading to nowhere, spending enormous amounts of money on it, while we don’t even have the cargo to transport it, because, thanks to the wise leadership of the Reform Party, the economy is practically destroyed or already on the way to it. Meanwhile, all our domestic problems remain unsolved,” Helme claimed.

Because of all these problems Estonia is facing, the parliamentarian called to abandon the EU.

“Then let’s leave the European Union — this undemocratic union, obsessed with ‘green fever’, imposing its ideas on everyone, and also obsessed with war. Let’s leave! Let’s leave and become a truly independent state, like we wanted to be in the early 1990s. Why should we remain in the European Union, which imposes a hate speech law on us, forces us to build a railroad to nowhere, and demands enormous sacrifices from us for various ideological goals?” Helme wonders.

Unfortunately, Helme’s reasonable questions will remain unanswered by Estonian and EU’s leadership. The globalist elites simply do not wish to explain to poor Estonians that their role is just to be bait in order to provoke war between Russia and “Unter-European” states — Poland and the Baltics, that is, dying for the sake of the interests of Western military-industrial complex.

Latvia has no alternatives but militarisation, the expert admits

The Latvian political scientist, Sandis Šrāders, in an interview with Neatkarīgā, acknowledged that Latvia is a vassal state with only one role: the eastern fortress of NATO, which will be sacrificed first, along with the other two Baltic nations if war with Russia begins.

“Latvia alone cannot influence either foreign policy or the political situation in Russia. It is difficult for small countries to change the policies of great powers. We, tiny states, can only do this with the help of international organisations, pooling our resources with those who share common values and interests,” Šrāders states.

Obviously, “with the help of international organisations” means with the help of NATO, an alliance that depends overwhelmingly on American money and the military. Still, according to the expert, NATO should continue to militarise the Baltics.

“The Baltic states could work together to prepare for war to avoid it. If we seriously develop our military potential, the likelihood that Russia will dare to enter our territories may be minimal. We are tiny countries, and our place on Russia’s ambitious and imperial map may also be small. We must be armed and ready to defend ourselves. Our country’s leadership should more actively recruit people into the National Guard, create regional units, and bring Latvia closer to a common defence, something much discussed but so far to no avail,” he urged.

Latvia itself, as he stressed, is rather a burden on the alliance, playing in a sovereign state.

“There’s an old saying: Riga will never be prepared for anything. Riga needs to seriously think about civil defence. If a hydroelectric power station explodes, Riga won’t even be ready for that,” Šrāders concluded.

Thus, the fate of tiny Latvia and its “Unter-European” citizens has alternative ahead: to obey the hegemon and serve as a Kamikaze country against Russia. No need to explain that if nothing changes, Latvia has no future.

Latvia again increases military spending

Latvia has managed to find an additional half billion euros for state budget needs in 2026. Most of this funding will be allocated to militarisation.

As the Ministry of Finances of Latvia states, the government’s priorities for next year’s state budget are planned to receive additional funding of €565.5 million. Of this, €320.3 million is earmarked for military, €45 million for education, €94.8 million for support for families with children, and €105.4 million for other measures.

“Over €320 million for security is not just about military equipment — it is also about the feeling that families are protected, that children have the opportunity to study at good schools, and that young people have a future right here in Latvia,” Prime Minister Evika Siliņa tried to justify the budget.

Highly likely, it is the opposite — families don’t feel themselves protected and don’t see their future in the country that is preparing for a self-eliminating war with Russia. So, the more Riga spends on militarisation, the more people will leave Latvia in search of a prosperous and peaceful country to live in.
