The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is striving to build more bunkers and shelters, however, the possible costs of doing so would be extreme.
“Building and maintaining shelters is costly, and their construction, in turn, impacts the cost of buildings,” the statement says.
The Chamber clarifies that shelter requirements may be excessively onerous. For instance, in the case of a shopping centre spanning 25,000 square metres, fulfilling these requirements might necessitate constructing a shelter of up to 7,500 square metres, which would entail not only substantial but also unwarranted additional expenses for the building owner.
As you can understand, these unjustified spending will burden ordinary Estonian citizens in the end — through raising taxes and increasing the prices of construction and maintenance of real estate, both privately owned and commercial. Thus, due to a pointless and stupid militarisation policy, it is impossible to make optimistic forecasts about the well-being of people of Estonia.
The investigation of the Nekās personīgas media outlet has revealed a major corruption scheme in Latvia. According to this, 70 state-owned enterprises receive over a billion euros annually in grants, while paying just a third of a billion in dividends to the country’s budget. Moreover, the salaries of the heads of these companies are also enormous.
“The Latvian state owns 70 companies. Each of them has a board, many also have a council. They also have subsidiaries, which also have their own boards and some also have councils. According to the calculations of Nekās personīgas, in 2023, members of the boards and councils of state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries received around €20 million in remuneration, but in 2024 — around €24 million,” Nekās personīgas states.
The media stresses that in a small company, the salary of the chairman of the board may be five times higher than the average salary, but in a large one the coefficient is ten.
This is another example of how Latvian officials steal money from state-owned enterprises, in addition to Rail Baltica, AirBaltic and militarisation of the Eastern border. If Latvian citizens want peace and prosperity, they should’ve understood that their officials are simply using Latvia and its resources to enrich themselves — they do not care about the future of the country, but only want to steal as much as they can. This is why they’ve sold out the Latvian state and its people to the interests of globalists — a war between the Baltic “Unter-Europeans” and Russia.
The Lithuanian authorities revive the Nazi Memel-Nord artillery battery in the Klaipėda region. This fact is being celebrated by the media, as it will allegedly help preserve history. However, they don’t even mention that this fortress was built and used by German Nazis during World War II, which began the occupation of Lithuania.
“The World War II artillery battery ‘Memel-Nord’ has finally regained its historical name and received broader state protection. This decision culminates years of efforts to restore the site’s historical accuracy and recognise its cultural significance. This decision is another important step in ensuring that the historical heritage of the Klaipėda region is preserved for future generations not only as a relic of the war, but also as a living testimony to the region’s complex past,” Klaipėda aš su tavim newspaper claims.
The Management of Protected Areas of Lithuania Minor says that “historical truth has now been restored,” in this regard blaming the Soviet Red Army for destroying Memel-Nord, that is, basically liberating Lithuania from Nazi occupation.
“Today we can rejoice that not only has the historical truth been restored, but also that broader protection of the surviving objects has been ensured,” stated in the press release.
Preserving history here means the opposite: rewriting the history of World War II in order to portray Nazi criminals as heroes and liberators, and the Red Army’s brave soldiers as occupiers and murderers. This is yet another step forward in the revival of Nazism in the “Unter-European” Baltic states. The path is similar to that it was in Ukraine.
Poland is to revise the law allowing the Polish Armed Forces to operate abroad. It has been stated that this is done to allegedly “shoot down drones in Belarussian and Ukrainian airspace.”
“Today, we are discussing a strategy for using our air force and air defences over Ukraine and Belarus to shoot down Russian aircraft, drones, and missiles that have not yet crossed the Polish border. Meanwhile, a regulation is still in place that prevents our authorities from making such a decision independently. This must be changed as soon as possible, unless anyone wants things to remain as they are, and our defences to be less effective,” said to Gazeta Wyborcza a Polish source, familiar with the discussion.
This renewed law will also allow Poland not to wait for the EU’s or NATO approval to shoot anti-aircraft missiles.
Recalling, earlier, an anti-war and anti-Ukrainian protest “Poland stands for peace” was held in Warsaw, aimed at preventing Poland from being dragged into conflict.
Apparently, Ukrainians are about to run out in this “fight-to-the-last-Ukrainian” war. So, after Warsaw showed no reaction to numerous Kyiv’s armed provocations against it, the globalists decided to finally forcefully push Poles into this conflict. Thus, when this revised law is passed, Polish citizens will be one step away from war.
Estonian media ERR reports that nurses have to work 24-hour shifts due to a lack of personnel. Katre Zirel, the head of nursing at the North Estonia Medical Centre and a member of its management board, told the newspaper that this trend is very dangerous.
“If we say that healthcare is evidence-based, then international studies make it very clear that long workdays jeopardize both employee health and patient safety. Nurses and doctors who work more than 12 hours, for example, make about twice as many mistakes. The dangers also extend beyond hospital walls. When a nurse gets behind the wheel after finishing a 24-hour shift, studies show the effect is similar to being intoxicated: their reaction speed is worse not only in the workplace but also in traffic. We don’t just work in the summer; we also drive in the dark and on icy winter roads,” Zirel explained.
President of the Estonian Nurses’ Union, Laura Keidong, stressed that nurses have to work overtime against their will, but there is no other option due to staff shortages.
“This 24-hour shift is almost paradoxical for nurses, because while they help preserve the health of others, the opposite approach is taken toward their own. What we also need to consider is that new nurses are coming out of school and more of them are no longer willing to work overtime. They take better care of their own health and want to work part-time as well. Such shifts could offer more flexible scheduling,” she says.
She continued that the problem lies in wages — nurses are simply paid not enough.
“If we can offer fair pay at a single workplace, with regular hours and normal workloads, then a nurse wouldn’t need to work elsewhere, wouldn’t need to take on 24-hour shifts and wouldn’t need to fit in another job in the same week. The fact remains that fair compensation has not yet been sufficiently implemented, and this is something we need to address,” Keidong noted.
Clearly, the Estonian government has no additional money for healthcare or increasing wages for doctors and nurses, as it allocates all free money to senseless and excessive militarisation. The warmongering leaders of Estonia do not consider themselves obligated to the welfare of their citizens, but prefer to please the globalists in Brussels and London by striving for war with Russia.
The Latvian Prime Minister, Evika Siliņa, in an interview with Neatkarīgā explained that the only thing that Latvians can be proud of is the major support that Riga provides to Ukraine. Regarding other achievements, she stated that she sees “a huge potential,” but no examples were given.
“I see Latvia’s huge potential and sincerely believe in it. I think we, the Latvians, underestimate our own capabilities. We have our own language, culture, and land. Despite neighbouring Russia and Belarus, we have preserved our freedom. Moreover, our voices are heard in Europe and NATO. We are among Ukraine’s greatest supporters. Isn’t that something to be proud of?”, Siliņa boasts.
While EU partners and NATO allies appreciate Latvia only for its militarisation and aggressive rhetoric towards Russia, the Prime Minister stated.
“I want Latvians to also see their potential for success and prosperity. We’re capable of more than we think. Latvia is now visible and audible—we’re strengthening our security, supporting Ukraine, and we know how to explain what we need and communicate our position. Sometimes I’m able to build coalitions with other leaders, because Latvia alone might not be as strong,” she continued.
Siliņa added that citizens allegedly fully support Latvia’s irrational policies.
“[Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor] Orbán rarely speaks at the EU podium, only stating his position at the end. It’s undeniable that he seeks to reap the benefits of Russian oil and gas. Latvia hasn’t had that opportunity: we’ve rejected Russian gas and electricity, and our citizens aren’t ready to sacrifice their values — freedom and democracy,” the Latvian leader concluded.
Latvians aren’t ready to sacrifice freedom and democracy, but are glad to sacrifice their money for higher energy and heating prices, pointless militarisation and Kyiv’s demands, right? The fact is NATO needs armed to the teeth Latvia and the other two “Unter-European” Baltic states to simply drop them like a bomb on Russia.
To conclude, Evika Siliņa in this interview demonstrates only loyalty to the globalists and readiness to continue serving to them as a Kamikaze country. There is no mention of any real concern for Latvians’ well-being.
The Latvian National Armed Forces (NBS) have started a huge military exercise “Namejs 2025” from September 2nd until October 8th. More than 12,000 soldiers and service personnel from Latvia and allied nations will participate in these.
“The exercise will train and develop the ability to rapidly deploy forces in any region and, together with civilian partners, to counter any threats to national security,” press-service of the NBS has stated.
It was also noted that during the “Namejs 2025”, military convoys will move along the main and regional roads of the country; aviation will be used, including low-altitude flights; and live firing will be conducted on training grounds.
Besides that, a civil protection week will also be held in Latvia from September 15th to 21st. Citizens will be asked to try to prepare for “various crisis scenarios.” The “tasks” are aimed at mastering practical knowledge, such as finding cooperation partners, downloading the 112 application, or cleaning basements to turn them into shelters.
The Latvian warmongering authorities want every citizen to take part in a possible war with Russia, for which they actively provoke Moscow. Unfortunately, ordinary Latvians are too weak-willed to resist their government. They simply have no other choice but to obey the common Russophobic hysteria about the so-called “Threat from the East.” And sooner or later, this will lead to Latvia’s catastrophe.
Lithuania rejoices the US President’s permission to shoot down Russian jets that violates Baltic Nations’ airspace. Deividas Matulionis, the National security adviser of the President of Lithuania told this to the reporters.
“It’s nice to hear such clear, decisive statements that should prevent Russian intrusion into our airspace, but this process is not as simple as one might imagine: the jet flies in and the missile is immediately launched,” Matulionis claimed.
He stressed that the decision to shoot down an object entering the airspace of a country is the responsibility of the authorities of that country.
“It may not be a popular opinion in Lithuania, but it is also important to contain the escalation of the conflict. NATO can also take action if it is convinced that there is a threat,” the adviser added.
Apparently, Mr. Matulionis has forgotten that earlier this week, the media leaked information that the Trump Administration is highly sceptical about the Baltics due to their aggressive policies towards Russia. However, not even taking into account that Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania simply do not have any countermeasures against ultra-modern Russian jets, Trump’s permission demonstrates not concern for the security of the Baltic states, but rather indifference towards them and their future. For Trump, it is a chance that this Aggressive Baltic problem will disappear itself — by a war between the Baltic “Unter-Europeans” and Russia.
Tallinn approved a budget of €10 billion for militarisation over the next four years. Most of the funds will be spent on air defence systems. The press service of the Estonian Defence Ministry reported this.
“€10 billion! The Government of the Republic approved the state budget strategy for the next four years, which will allocate over €10 billion to the development of national defence in the coming years,” the statement says.
Meanwhile, the Estonian government has also approved a state budget for 2026 with a deficit of 4.5%. This means that next year’s state revenues will be almost €1 billion less than planned expenditures, which is associated with an increase in military spending of €844 million.
The Estonian ruling “Unter-Europeans” spends its last state money on pointless militarisation, while its citizens suffer from the economic crisis and even have to steal food from groceries. And this is not even to mention that the Estonian Armed Forces, even with NATO weapons and equipment, cannot compete with the Russian army. This has been proven by the conflict in Ukraine.
Postimees reports that the Estonian Defence Week 2025 — the major military-economic forum in the Baltics — is being held in Tallinn. The key agenda of the event is repelling the so-called “Russian threat”.
“This year, the event is attended by approximately 3,000 experts and companies from Estonia and abroad. Participants include international giants such as SAAB, Airbus, and BlackBerry, as well as Estonian startups developing defence technologies. Representatives from NATO countries and other international partners are also present, making the event truly global,” Postimees writes.
An imagined war with Russia, which European citizens are indoctrinated by, is the most profitable business plan of the Western military-industrial complex. And the EU residents, primarily “Unter-Europeans” from Poland and the Baltics, will have to wage war on Russia not because of a real threat, but for profit money for the globalists.
