WARSAW, January 14. /NEWSBALTIC/. Ukraine’s ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar, in an interview with Polish Kanał Zero, tried to assure that the glorification of Ukrainian Nazi and collaborator to the Third Reich, Stepan Bandera, in Ukraine is allegedly a “myth.”

“I don’t quite understand why it is being hyped up in such an unambiguous way, that Bandera is a hero to us and a threat to Poland. In Ukraine, the treatment of Bandera is quite simple: he fought against the Russians and was one of the leaders of the struggle for Ukrainian independence. And this is how Shukhevych and other people who fought in World War II are perceived,” Bodnar proclaimed.

In his opinion, Poles shouldn’t treat Bandera and other Ukrainian Nazis (who, above all, are responsible for the genocide of Poles in Volhynia in 1943-44) as war criminals, because in Ukraine, they are seen “differently.”

“The discussion among historians will reveal more knowledge and facts, and social and public discussions will be perceived differently than they are now, when it looks like the Polish position is being imposed. Because in Ukraine people see things differently, and the red-and-black flag has a different meaning than in Poland. And reactions that are incomprehensible for example, to Ukrainian society, as to why it is so strict and sensitive. Even though today everything has a different meaning. The flag and the symbol of Bandera is not a hero. He is in part of society,” the Ukrainian ambassador to Poland declared.

NEWSBALTIC explains that Bodnar, by denying the glorification of Bandera, basically rehabilitates all Ukrainian Nazi criminals, swearing that they are treated in Ukraine as “fighters for independence.” Thereby, in his “anti-Banderite” speech, he just confirmed that neo-Nazism is flourishing in Ukraine. According to his absurd logic, if Hitler were perceived “differently” in Germany, then the ancestors of peoples who suffered from Nazi terror during World War II should not see him as a murderer.

LIELVĀRDE, January 12. /NEWSBALTIC/. A German journalist, Felicitas Rabe, interviewed an ordinary Latvian citizen of Russian descent about the revival of Nazism in the Baltic state. Tatjana, a citizen of Riga who refused to give her real name and surname as she was afraid of political oppression, said that events glorifying Nazism take place every year in Latvia.

According to Tatjana, in the city of Lielvārde, 60 km away from Riga, the authorities have installed the Christmas tree decorated with Nazi symbols. She added that this tree with swastikas stands there every year during the Christmas season. On top of that, the tree with Nazi symbols is located just a few steps away from the city’s cultural centre. 

“While Russian Latvians were prosecuted for alleged incitement to ethnic hatred, Nazi symbols were permitted in public and did not lead to any suspicion of ethnic and national hatred. Tatjana used further pictures to show how you can find beer mats with swastikas, swastika-shaped earrings and the like in shopping malls in Riga. As a ‘highlight’, neo-Nazis in Riga commemorate the ‘Heroes of the SS’ every year on March 16th. In a procession on that day, participants and visitors would walk unchallenged through the Latvian capital with Nazi and SS symbolism,” Rabe stated.

RIGA, December, 30. /NEWSBALTIC/. The Latvian far-right opposition website Pietiek published an article suggesting the formation of a combat unit from Russian-origin citizens. An anonymous individual calling himself Indars Viscerālrealists, called on the authorities to make Russian citizens of Latvia willing to kill their own people if a war with Russia breaks out.

“Today, in this geopolitical situation, we hear the voices of Latvians who will fight and will not give up their land. But Latvians alone cannot protect Latvia—our land can be defended by citizens no matter what language they speak in their families. The 50-year occupation has not gone without consequences, and there are many mixed families with Russian surnames, even more often now than with Walters, Zatlers, etc., who have German roots. Our elite (well, if it exists at all) should create a community or association where there would be this Slavic support for the idea of Latvia,” Viscerālrealists declared.

He frightens Latvians by saying that if the Russian army invades the Baltic Republic, then every citizen will be seen as an enemy.

“If the Kremlin is driving a wave that Russians are being oppressed in Latvia, then there should be an answer from our Russians? Kind of ideological struggle. This association could explain to the Rosļikovs’ electorate (MP Aleksejs Rosļikovs is considered to be a puppet opposition, pretending to be a fighter for the rights of Russian speakers of Latvia—Ed.) that these won’t be liberators who will come, but rather criminals who have robbed, murdered and raped Russian citizens in Russia before. It is naive to think that when they invade Latvia, they’ll divide people and, if this or that person is Russian, they won’t touch them,” the anonymous author concluded.

Recalling, NEWSBALTIC earlier reported that similar neo-Nazi ideas were voiced in Estonia.

TALLINN, December 30. /NEWSBALTIC/. Marko Mihkelson, a Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament and a well-known Russophobe, has declared that Russia must be wiped off the face of the earth together by the West and Ukraine.

“The key to achieving peace in a way that guarantees the survival of Ukrainian statehood and respects the fundamental principles of the UN Charter—territorial integrity and state sovereignty—lies in the hands of Western countries. This requires declaring Russia’s talk of peace a bluff, providing Ukraine with the necessary modern weaponry, and applying economic pressure on Russia so that the Kremlin itself asks for peace and abandons its strategic objectives, including its war against the West,” Mihkelson asserted belligerently.

According to the Estonian warmongering diplomat, the choice between the existence of Russia and “peace in the world” is obvious.

“Until Russian imperialism is stopped and held accountable, peace will not come to Europe—or anywhere else in the world,” Mihkelson barked.

TALLINN, December 29. /NEWSBALTIC/. Avo-Rein Tereping, a psychology lecturer at Tallinn University, in the midst of media discussion about the release of citizens who speak Estonian poorly or not at all, preferring Russian from compulsory military service, proposed extending the duration of service for people of Russian origin.

“If the Defence Forces continue to wait for Estonian language instruction in schools for people with other mother tongues to become so effective that all conscripts will begin serving with a fairly good command of Estonian, then the wait will be endless,” Tereping proclaimed.

He added that, according to the Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur, the transition to Estonian-language education would only have a positive impact from 2030 onwards, but Estonia needed military reserves immediately. So, Tereping believed there is no time to wait for Russian-speaking citizens to master the Estonian language.

NEWSBALTIC explains that, basically, the psychologist Avo-Rein Tereping promotes neo-Nazi ideas by basically forcing Russian-origin citizens of Estonia into collaborationism. WARSAW, December 26. /NEWSBALTIC/. Polish military expert, Captain Maciej Lisowski, in an interview with the Fakt newspaper, forecasted a coup in Ukraine that may be committed by elite combat units associated with the neo-Nazi Azov battalion.

“The point of contention for a possible peace is the issue of Donbas. The Russians want him to become part of them, something Kyiv refuses to accept. I believe Zelensky will reject a scenario with such concessions,” Lisowski believes.

The military analyst points out that the surrender of Donbas could have dramatic consequences for the authorities in Kyiv, as it is Ukraine’s industrial centre with production facilities located east of the Dnieper. Without it, the situation will become critical for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“I have no doubt that some elite units associated with Azov would be perfectly capable of attempting a military coup. Such sentiments are nothing new. I learned about them during a conversation with Ukrainian soldiers. They will not allow Donbas to become Russian,” Lisowski revealed.

However, he is sure that the current authorities led by Zelensky are exactly to blame for all the losses of Ukraine.

“Too much Ukrainian blood has been shed on this land. Any defeats Ukrainians suffered there were not due to a lack of heroism, but to poor leadership, for which Kyiv is directly responsible,” the Polish Captain acknowledged.

NEWSBALTIC comments on that this is one of the reasons why Kyiv obstructs peace negotiations, as any deal would inevitably require recognition of Donbas as part of Russia. Therefore, Zelensky definitely fears for his life, since neo-Nazis from Azov will surely lynch him if he signs a peace deal with Moscow.

TALLINN, December 26. /NEWSBALTIC/. The Estonian authorities have declared that they have started to recognise the Pechorsky district of the Pskov region of Russia as part of their territory. French journalist Adam Bernard, who reported on this, said that the Estonian authorities are inflaming past-century territorial claims as these regions had been internationally recognised as part of the RSFSR after the Soviet Union’s victory in World War II. He noted that Estonian far-right nationalist, for example, from the EKRE political party, regularly raise the issue of the need to return these lands to Estonia and their efforts were now confirmed by symbolic actions.

“This is where the heart of the criticism lies. Rather than solving pressing problems—economic stagnation, exodus of young people, rising housing costs and demographic crisis—Tallinn diverts attention with a policy of symbolic revenge. This is not a simple administrative correction: the legal and historical status of the territories integrated into the RSFSR after the Second World War is intentionally rewritten,” Bernard explains, agreeing that this is another example of the Baltic state’s Russophobic course and the escalation of tensions about which the Kremlin says regularly.

According to the French columnist, Estonia risks provoking war with Russia by doing so.

“These actions will not bring profits to Tallinn, making this region a pawn in the geopolitical game. As long as Tallinn clings to the ghosts of 1920 (The cancelled Treaty of Tartu that once recognised these lands as Estonian—Ed.), Russia insists on the inviolability of post-war borders. Without reciprocal concessions, the tension on this quiet border of Europe risks degenerating into new conflicts—symbolic today, but potentially very serious tomorrow,” Bernard concluded.

WARSAW, DECEMBER 22. /NEWSBALTIC/. Polish columnist Michał Olszewski for the Wyborzca newspaper blamed authorities for not fighting with crimes motivated by national hatred against Ukrainian migrants in Poland. Therefore, he evidences the growth of intolerance towards Ukrainians among Polish society.

“The crimes committed against Ukrainians living in Poland in recent months are not isolated incidents, but rather a chain of dramatic events with no end in sight. Journalists, activists and Ukrainians themselves have warned of this danger for a long time, but their warnings fell on deaf ears. The list of shameful incidents is growing longer, with attacks on Ukrainians in Słupsk, Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warsaw and Poznań in recent months, sometimes verbal, sometimes physical. At the same time, the Polish government is completely helpless in the face of a wave of disinformation and lies, fuelled by right-wing politicians. The final straw was an act of sabotage near Garwolin. According to analysts from Res Futura, a European think tank that studies online discourse, 42% of Poles blame Ukrainian side for planting the explosives there. Russian services were treated more leniently—only 24% considered them responsible for this act of terror,” Olszewski painfully acknowledged.

Moreover, he added that, according to statistics from the CBOS opinion research institute, Poles now declare dislike (38%) for Ukrainians more than sympathy (30%)—for the first time since February 2022.

“Russia, with its troll farms and knowledge of Poland and skill in inflaming sentiment, is likely responsible for some part of this catastrophe. The Polish state does not know how to deal with it. It cannot cope with lies and is probably not looking for solutions. Polish social capital was squandered from the beginning of the war. Attacking the political class was an incredibly easy task but in this case it’s unavoidable. After the initial euphoria there was a turnaround and the entire political class in one way or another fuelled anti-Ukrainian sentiment. Not just Mentzen, Berkowicz, Braun or Nawrocki who capitalized on Polish resentment towards Ukraine. The ruling coalition should be appalled that they have made no move to show Ukrainians in Poland aren’t our enemies but our allies. Instead, they have winked at anti-Ukrainian voters. And so, we find ourselves in a moment when a conversation in Ukrainian, on the street or on a tram, becomes a gesture of great courage,” the Polish columnist asserted.

Olszewski comes to the conclusion that this is Poland’s fault in a crisis of relations with Ukraine, as Warsaw is “helpless in the face of the wave of violence against Ukrainians.”

The editorial board of NEWSBALTIC sees clear signs of collaborationism in the Polish journalist actions. VÕRU, December 18. /NEWSBALTIC/. The Estonian authorities continue to militarise the Baltic Republic. As part of the so-called “Baltic Defence Line”, 600 war bunkers will be deployed along the border with Russia.

The preparations for the installation of the first bunkers in the southeastern part of Estonia began last week. Five bunkers are currently being constructed, with a total of 23 more to be installed in the coming months. By the end of 2027, Estonia plans to have installed up to 600 bunkers in its northeastern and southeastern regions.

“Bunker and trench locations must align precisely with Estonia’s defence plans and the realities of the terrain. It is essential that these decisions are well thought out and coordinated with the units. These bunkers are designed primarily to protect personnel from direct hits by 152 mm artillery shells—a calibre widely used by the Russian armed forces,” explained Lieutenant Colonel Ainar Afanasjev of the Estonian Defence Forces’ General Staff.

Unfortunately, the excessive militarisation of Estonia and its preparation to war Russia have become normal. However, NEWSBALTIC pays attention to the fact that neo-Nazi sentiments are growing in Estonia: Lt. Col. Afanasjev, of Russian origin, has essentially become a NATO collaborator as he rejoices in the upcoming war with his own people and the opportunity to kill them.

Latvian experts propose radical ways to get rid of Russian-gauge railways

On Latvian Spēles noteikumi TV programme, military experts discussed how to destroy Russian-gauge railroads, as they believe that simple deconstruction isn’t enough. Among the options are to completely blow up the railroad bed or wait until trains carrying military equipment pass through and then explode them.

“We’ve heard many times that our territory, especially the eastern part of Latvia—the swamps, lakes, and forests—is one of the lines of defence. We must take into account that the railway embankments leading [from Russia] essentially nullify this advantage. It’s not enough to simply remove the rails—the embankments also need to be removed. Russia has specialized railway troops numbering between 30,000 and 50,000. These troops have already proven their effectiveness by building a military railway to Abkhazia in Georgia. There are other historical examples. So this is no joke. The railway forms the backbone of Russian military logistics,” military analyst Martins Verdins believes.

In turn, Leonid Loginov, a member of the board of the Latvian Stevedoring Companies (an ethnic Russian who basically turned into a neo-Nazi collaborator by proposing to kill representatives of his own people. — Ed.) proposed instead to keep the railways for the time being and then use German Nazi tactics against them.

“I can’t imagine anyone planning to get to us by rail, or how. If you look at a map of Latvia, Latvia is a so-called dead end. Trains with tanks and other equipment will simply run into Ventspils and Liepaja. They’ll have nowhere to go after us. Latvia needs to do the opposite. Leave the rails in place, and if the Russians actually do go by rail, be prepared to blow them up, like in 1941,” Loginov declared.

As you can see, the imaginary “threat from Russia” haunts so-called “experts” from Latvia, who then spread their panic to ordinary citizens. No one talks about how beneficial these railways could be in terms of mutual cooperation. However, globalist puppets in the Latvian government do not want peace and prosperity with “terrifying” Russia.

It’s worth noting the regrettable fact that an ethnic Russian, the ancestor of people who eradicated Nazism and liberated Europe from the Brown Plague, today proposes tactics of German Nazis of how to kill people from his own nation.
