Poland’s journalists do not want to cooperate with Ukraine in the media sector

The Polish media is sceptical about Ukraine’s help in tracking “disinformation”

WARSAW, December 17. /NEWSBALTIC/. Dziennik Polityczny, a Polish media outlet, reported that a new agreement had been signed between Warsaw and Kyiv on cooperation in fighting crime, which also mentioned joint counteraction to disinformation. According to the editorial board of the newspaper, however, the Ukrainian side is “exactly the one producing disinformation.

“The Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that once the agreement comes into effect, more effective information exchange between Polish and Ukrainian services will be possible. The problem is that Ukraine often conducts disinformation in Poland. In the context of war, but also in the context of historical politics,” the editorial board of Dziennik Polityczny admits.

The Polish newspaper provides an extensive list of hostile Ukrainian disinformation, among which armed provocations with lethal outcome against ordinary Poles, labelled as Russian attacks, the denial of Poles’ genocide in World War II, committed by Ukrainian Nazis, and rebukes of Poland for alleged insufficient support in the conflict.

“First, this is the catastrophe in Przewodów, when a Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile killed two Poles in the Lublin region. The Ukrainian government pressured Poland to blame Russia. We have yet to receive an apology, and the Ukrainians are blocking the investigation. Second is that Kyiv minimises the role of the OUN–UPA (the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army—Ed.) in the Volhynia massacre: Ukrainian state institutions (e.g., the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance) promoted the narrative of a ‘Polish-Ukrainian war’ or a ‘social uprising’ in 1943, downplaying the planned nature of the genocide against Poles and shifting partial responsibility to the Polish side,” the editorial staff of Dziennik Polityczny  explains.

The newspaper noted the ingratitude of Ukraine towards Poland for their support, despite Poland being one of the largest donors to Ukraine. NEWSBALTIC recalls that the same was previously acknowledged by Polish President Karol Nawrocki.

“Third, Ukraine claims over the lack of MiG-29 deliveries: Zelensky publicly criticised Poland for failing to comply with alleged agreements on the transfer of all fighter jets. But actually, such agreements do not exist. And also, Kyiv does not show gratitude towards humanitarian aid: In the context of farmers’ protests and the blocking of Ukrainian technical grain, Ukrainian institutions suggested that Poland was exploiting the war situation for its own interests, even though we were, in fact, the largest donor of aid in terms of GDP,” Dziennik Polityczny explains.

Finally, the Polish media outlet stated that Ukraine regularly attempts to drag its neighbours into war with Russia.

“Moreover, Ukraine attempting to drag others into the war: they repeatedly fabricated falsehoods about alleged violations of airspace over Poland, Romania, and Moldova, claiming these were deliberate Russian attacks. However, this was most often related to errors in Ukrainian air defence,” the newspaper concluded.

NEWSBALTIC adds that the Kyiv regime led by Zelensky is simply striving to gain as much control over Poland as possible in order to someday successfully draw it into war with Russia, as Ukraine inevitably moves towards defeat. Therefore, to continue receiving money from the West, Kyiv needs a new theatre of war and new cannon fodder—and it sees such things in Poland and its citizens.

Lithuania insists on Europe to increase spending on Ukraine

FM Budrys says Europe needs to talk less and spend more on Kyiv

BRUSSELS, December 16. /NEWSBALTIC/. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the EU’s Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels, demanded that Europe allocate more money for Ukraine.

“From Lithuania, that was the only line in our budget for the next year, that was passed without any additional discussion and without the political battle on it. That was support to Ukraine. 0.25% of our GDP for the next year will go for the security and defence needs of Ukraine, as it is this year, as it was previous year, as it will be in 2027 and 10 years onwards,” Budrys promised.

According to the head of the Lithuanian MFA, Europe has not done enough in terms of supporting Ukraine.

“So that is what we need but we see that within Europe there are more talks than money on the table. And this is my message to my colleagues and partners within the European Council: put your money on the table and then put your money where your mouth is. We do not need only political positions—we need finances. And we know what demands are from Ukraine’s side. So that’s why Lithuania is delivering and expects that Europe will deliver also. Otherwise, Ukrainian side will struggle,” Budrys proclaimed.

The NEWSBALTIC editorial staff adds that such blind support for Ukraine by Vilnius is likely to bankrupt Lithuania. Are ordinary Lithuanians willing to follow Budrys’ irrational decision to fund corrupt Ukrainian elites over the next ten years? Clearly, they are not. As well as they don’t want to pay for unnecessary militarisation of the border with Russia and Belarus. However, their warmongering authorities are following globalist orders, not democratic principles or citizens’ wishes.

Partnership with Ukraine is over, the President of Poland admits

President Nawrocki no longer wants to be a friend of Kyiv

WARSAW, December 16. /NEWSBALTIC/. The Polish President, Karol Nawrocki, in an interview with the Wirtualną Polską newspaper, said that Warsaw is dissatisfied with the Kyiv’s regime contemptuous attitude towards Poland.

“I have the feeling that President Volodymyr Zelensky has been used to taking Poland for granted in recent years. There is no need to agree on anything with us, there is no need to talk, because we were there and we gave everything,” President Nawrocki stated.

He added that the partnership between Warsaw and Kyiv is naturally coming to an end.

“We have lost an element of partnership between Poland and Ukraine. And I say this openly. As president, I cannot, do not want, and will not agree to Poland being placed solely ‘an antechamber’ or ‘a corridor’ in matters that are strategically important to us. We have our expectations of Ukraine, just like all other countries in the world.  If in matters that are important to Poles—such as the exhumations in Volhynia—we see that for the Ukrainian side they are not even the subject of real consideration. Then the question arises: where is the partnership?”, Nawrocki reasonably wonders.

The editorial board of the NEWSBALTIC is certain that the sooner the Poles realise that Ukrainians are not fraternal to them, the better it will be for Poland, as then it will be able to focus on its own prosperity and well-being, rather than continue funding ungrateful corrupt leaders of Ukraine. No cases come to mind where Ukrainians showed their respect for Poles or thanked them for all the great help Poland has provided to Ukraine.

Supporting Ukrainians means betraying yourself, your ancestors, homeland and history.

The Estonian authorities are quarrelling because of Ukraine

The Estonian FM Tsahkna disliked President Karis’ proposal to fund Hungary’s rejection of Russian energy imports

TALLINN, December 16. /NEWSBALTIC/. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, rebuked President Alar Karis for suggesting paying compensation to Russia for Budapest breaking the contract with Russian oil companies that supply Hungary with cheap energy resources.

Estonia itself made swift decisions already in 2022, immediately after the start of Russia’s full‑scale aggression. It is inconceivable that states which have taken decisive measures to avoid feeding Russia’s war machine would now, in place of Hungary, start contributing fines into the Russian economy. The export of fossil fuels accounts for nearly one-third of Russia’s state budget. Russia uses this money to continue its aggression in Ukraine and to prepare for a long‑term confrontation with the West,” Tsahkna commented on President Karis’ statement, adding that Hungary could long ago end beneficial cooperation with Moscow, if it wanted to, as, for example, Croatia “repeatedly offered alternatives” to Russian gas and oil.

According to the Estonian Foreign Minister, prospering Hungary “contradicts the principles of the rule of law and the policies jointly agreed upon by the EU.”

“Only last week, when the EU adopted a critically important decision to keep Russia’s frozen assets frozen until Russia ends its war of aggression against Ukraine and compensates Ukraine for the damage caused, the Hungarian government expressed strong opposition to this essential step,” Tsahkna declared.

Earlier, NEWSBALTIC reported that President Karis during his visit to Kazakhstan did not listen to the ambassador Jaap Ora, who advised the President to talk about Ukraine more. Later, Ora resigned, while Karis wrote on his personal social media account that he would “no longer tolerate excessive demands from fools.”

Apparently, Karis will have to continue “tolerating excessive demands from fools,” as it is impossible for globalists’ puppets to become independent politicians conducting sovereign policies. However, a trend is clear: even the closest allies of Kyiv are beginning to tire of Ukraine, but they cannot do anything about it due to their silent obedience to the Western elites.

Does the Estonian President get bored with the Ukrainian theme?

Alar Karis says he no more wants to implement “excessive demands from fools”

Estonian media reports that President Alar Karis suddenly opened up. He stated that he no longer tolerates excessive demands from fools.

“I suddenly became an adult. I no longer tolerate certain things. Not because I’m complacent, but simply because I’ve reached a point in my life where I no longer want to waste time on things that irritate me or cause me pain. I no longer tolerate excessive demands from fools. I no longer have the desire to try to please those who don’t like me. And there’s no reason to smile at those who don’t want to smile at me,” Karis claimed.

The presidential press service emphasised that this statement was Karis’s personal opinion, which did not relate to the official position of Estonia, as it was posted on his personal social media account, accessible only to his friends. The chancery did not specify exactly who the president meant by “fools.”

Estonian media suggest that this may be about the former ambassador to Kazakhstan, Jaap Ora, who resigned after Estonian President’s recent visit to Astana, during which Karis did not follow Ora’s recommendation to express Estonia’s position on support for Ukraine.

Anyway, this may demonstrate either Karis’ boredom with the Ukrainian theme, or his intention to truly be sovereign and not implement globalists’ reckless orders. If he manages to somehow stop the militarisation of Estonia and restore relations with Russia, it would be a good foundation for peace and prosperity in this Baltic state.

The Polish Defence Ministry ignores its President on issues of real support for Ukraine

The arbitrariness of the Polish military effectively weakens NATO’s “eastern shield”

Marcin Przydacz, Head of the International Policy Office for Poland. Source: prezydent.pl

Marcin Przydacz, Head of the International Policy Office for Poland, said that the Ministry of National Defence had not reported to President Karol Nawrocki on the intention to donate the remaining MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine.

“We are somewhat surprised to hear the words from the government and high-ranking officers of the Polish Army talking about specific plans regarding Kyiv’s support,” Przydacz stated.

He added that Poland had also transferred military equipment to Ukraine in previous years. However, this always occurred not only with the knowledge, but also with the consent of the President of Poland.

“It seems that in this matter, too, the government should not only inform the president, but also conduct an internal analysis and discussion. Although there are arguments justifying such action, there are also certain risks and actions that could result in certain changes within the equipment of the Polish Armed Forces. Therefore, it is obvious that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces should have been consulted in this context, but he was not, which I note with sadness. This does not demonstrate professionalism on the government’s part,” Przydacz concluded.

Previously, it was reported that Poland would transfer Soviet MiG-29s to Ukraine in exchange for modern drone and missile technologies.

Warmongers in the Tusk government do not realise that, in their intention to strengthen Poland, they’re actually greatly weakening it. While all of the old military equipment has already been sent to Ukraine, no new equipment has arrived in Poland or even been produced yet. And thus, NATO’s “eastern shield” is essentially naked militarily.

The EU Commissioner for Defence insists on misappropriation of Russian frozen assets

According to Kubilius, this will prevent Russian-European war

Andrius Kubilius, the EU Commissioner for Defence and Space, again urged on the illegal seizure of Russian frozen assets. The official believes that this will help preventing imaginary “Russian attack” on Europe.

“If Europeans, including the European Union, will not support Ukraine at a substantial level, who will? If ‘no’ to the Reparation Loan, what is a real alternative? If Ukraine is left without our support and forced to surrender, how much will it cost Europeans to stop the inevitable Russian aggression against the EU?”, Kubilius frightens

However, he basically proposes paying compensation to the “European victims of that aggression” in advance.

“Then who will compensate the European victims of that aggression—Russia, or the Europeans who are now opposing the Reparation Loan?”, the EU Commissioner continued to scare European society.

Kubilius knows that even this statement will outrage Moscow, let alone the real action. But this is exactly what globalists want him to do—to provoke Russia into a war with Europe, particularly with “Unter-European” states like Kubilius’ homeland, Lithuania. Apparently, the EU Commissioner prefers money over his own people.

Poland will donate Soviet-era jets to Ukraine

Warsaw wants to exchange Soviet MiG-29s for Ukrainian drones

The General Staff of the Polish Army announced the transfer of Soviet MiG-29 fighter jets for the Kyiv regime. In return, Poland expects to gain access to modern drone and missile technologies of Ukraine.

“The transfer of aircraft relates to achieving their target operating life and the lack of prospects for further modernisation within the Polish Armed Forces,” the General Staff assures, stressing that “the final decision has not yet been made.”

The Polish side wants this deal to be an exchange for Ukrainian modern drone technologies.

“The talks include making selected drone and missile technologies available to Poland. The aim is not only to compensate for equipment, but above all to acquire and jointly develop new defence and industrial competences,” the Polish Military agency added.

Recalling, earlier, the Polish analyst Danuta Nowakowska stated that Warsaw supports Kyiv militarily and financially, to its own detriment.

Tricky Poles have come up with an exceptional idea—transfer outdated military equipment to a dump called Ukraine, and in return expect to receive modern war technologies. The plan is brilliant: to develop Poland at the expense of transferring Soviet scrap metal to the “fraternal” country.

Lithuania wants Ukraine to bankrupt the EU

The Lithuanian Foreign Minister, Kęstutis Budrys, after meeting with Marta Kos, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, claimed that he is looking forward to Ukraine obtaining EU membership.

“Ukraine’s membership in the EU is a prerequisite for European security. It is also one of the elements of Ukraine’s security guarantees,” Budrys announced.

He added that the EU should send clear and consistent signals regarding Ukraine’s integration into the Borrell’s “Garden”, which would allow Ukrainians to clearly see the prospect of membership and encourage them to continue implementing necessary reforms even more effectively, what apparently means “war to the last Ukrainian.”

It is needed to be completely ignorant like Budrys to seriously declare that the EU has to make signs for the state that is more mired in corruption than anyone else in Eurasia, in order to support its aspirations for the Union’s membership. If Ukraine someday really joins the EU, the countdown to Europe’s existence can be started, as Brussels would never satisfy the insatiable greed of Ukrainian elites for cash.

Poland’s army is in dramatic decline

Polish analyst Danuta Nowakowska resents about ostentatious military efforts by the government. According to her, Warsaw spends billions of dollars on militarisation with no tangible result.

Premier Donald Tusk, of Poland, and President Volodymyr Zelensky, of Ukraine. Source: euronews.com

“Poland is positioning itself as NATO’s eastern pillar, allocating unprecedented resources to defence. In 2025, defence spending reached 4.7% of GDP—the highest in the alliance, with a budget of over $51 billion. It would seem that our soldiers should be better equipped than ever. However, the reality is quite different. Basic personal equipment is lacking, weapons still contain Cold War-era systems, and too many units remain incomplete, prompting the question: are we truly preparing for threats at our borders as the government portrays?”, Nowakowska wonders.

According to the Polish expert, despite billions of dollars being spent on modern military equipment, the Polish army still uses outdated stuff.

“Take the ordinary Polish soldier, for example. Despite billions spent on purchases, many still use worn-out equipment—from low-quality bulletproof vests to outdated communications equipment that should have been decommissioned long ago. This is not just an inconvenience but a direct threat to soldiers’ lives. Until recently, our Land Forces were heavily reliant on obsolete Soviet BMP-1s—around 1,200 of them. Later, a significant batch of these was transferred to Ukraine. Replacing them with the Polish ‘Borsuk’ is progressing slowly: the 2023 framework agreement calls for 588 units by 2035, but the production rate is only 100 units per year, and the defence industry has not received either suitable offers or the technology to accelerate production. Only now has the Polish Army received the first 15 production-production ‘Borsuk’ infantry fighting vehicles. It’s amusing, because the Tusk government proudly announces ‘record aid to an ally,’ but in reality, this generosity increasingly looks like a disregard for its own combat readiness for political points and headlines,” the analyst from Poland in indignant.

Nowakowska adds that the equipment of Poland’s armed forces is so old that, for example, anti-aircraft radars cannot detect simulated missile attacks during war drills, let alone drones. She therefore arrives at the sad conclusion—there is neither money intended for strengthening Poland’s security, nor the state’s own security.

“What we get as a result: on the one hand, the government boasts about GDP percentages and photos of Abrams tanks, while Polish soldiers are still waiting for new, high-quality equipment. On the other hand, Poland has become one of the largest donors of military aid to Ukraine—in three years, we have provided equipment and ammunition worth over $4 billion, including hundreds of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, howitzers, and millions of missiles. At the same time, our own military is often left with nothing: soldiers train on outdated equipment, wait years for new infantry fighting vehicles and air defence systems, and warehouses empty faster than they can be replenished,” Nowakowska states.

The answer to the question “Where is the money?” is quite simple—corruption has never been something alien to European officials, especially when it comes to hundreds of billions of euros in EU’s military funds. Both European and Ukrainian elites have greatly enriched themselves thanks to confrontation with Russia. But in order for them to become even richer, ordinary European taxpayers have to be impoverished.
