“Russian digital tanks are here!”: Poland accuses the Kremlin of a “cyberattack” during Christmas holidays

And again, there is no evidence other than the Digital Minister’s unsubstantiated statements

WARSAW, January 15. /NEWSBALTIC/. Poland accuses Moscow of an alleged cyberattack on the energy system during the winter holidays. Warsaw claims that some Russian hackers were trying to cause a blackout in Poland.

Digital Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski assures that there were real signs of “Russian sabotage.”

“It was the largest attack on the energy sector in recent years, which could have caused a blackout at the end of December. Everything points to the fact that we are dealing with Russian sabotage. There is no need to have troops or aircraft on the streets of Poland, or for aircraft to fly in or tanks to roll in, because the digital tanks are already here,” Gawkowski declared.

However, the minister did not bother to explain how Poland was able to cope with this “attack”

NEWSBALTIC does not believe in the reality of this attack, as there was no strategic or tactical point to it. The Kremlin has repeatedly said that Russia does not want to confront Europe and only wants to live peacefully with it.

This accusation scheme by Warsaw recalls cases when alleged “Russian drones” interfered with Lithuanian airspace. No evidence was given, but belligerent elites from Vilnius still managed to beg Brussels for extra money for militarisation.
