A soldier from the Artillery Battalion in Brasschaat sustained life-threatening injuries during an exercise with mortars on Friday. He received immediate initial care from medical teams and was transferred to a civilian hospital, where he died from his injuries on Saturday,” Defence minister Theo Francken and chief of defence Frederik Vansina of Belgium reported in a joint press release.

Recalling, on March 31st, 2025, four American soldiers drown in a swamp during war drills near Pabradė, Lithuania.

NATO forces again showed their military incompetence. For us, it is left only to guess what horror happened there that this Belgian soldier was lethally injured during exercises with explosives. Moreover, this dramatic incident occurred once more in Lithuania. This is clear evidence for all families with military personnel—if you want your loved ones to be safe and alive, do not allow them to be sent to the Baltics. The best option is to even insist on a change of job from military to a civilian sector.
