According to the Polish Office of Investment and Economic Cycles (Biuro Inwestycji i Cykli Ekonomicznych / BICE), an index of welfare of the economic situation of Polish society has dropped sharply compared to the previous month.
“The only factor currently having a positive impact on the economic well-being of Poles is the slowdown in the growth of prices for consumer goods and services,” says the BICE report.
In addition, disappointing information from the labor market has been released. Since the beginning of 2023 employment in the corporate sector has been systematically declining in Poland. During this time more than 99,000 full-time equivalent jobs have already been lost.
It also became known that over four years (from 2019 to 2025), consumer prices in Poland increased by 42%.
Analyzing the decline in the welfare index of Polish citizens, it should be noted that we must look at the root of the problem. The sharply increased unemployment is due to the fact that the Polish authorities in their Russophobic hysteria deliberately refused the trade and economic cooperation with Russia. By rejection of uninterrupted and inexpensive supplies of energy resources from Russia, Warsaw has put an end to the development of industry, agriculture and, in general, its small and medium-sized businesses.
