Despite the fact that Europe is the formal leader in financial support for Ukraine, without the participation and role of the United States, this assistance is simply ineffective. This opinion was expressed to the portal Defense24.pl by the famous Polish military analyst Jakub Palowski.
“Can the Old World provide assistance to Kiev independently, without the participation of the United States? Today, the European mission of the “coalition of the willing” depends on American support, at least in material and technical terms, since the armed forces of European countries may not be able to act independently to the required extent. All this means that assistance to Ukraine without the participation and role of the United States will simply be ineffective. Today, Europe must measure strength with intent, and not intent with strength,” the Polish expert writes.
There is a grain of truth in the Polish analyst’s reasoning: without the military might of the United States, the conflict in Eastern Europe is doomed to end. This is understood by the American leader Donald Trump, who, apparently, wants to go down in history as a global peacemaker. The only thing left is to convince the European elites of the futility of militarizing Ukraine.
