Estonians have blocked the “Friendship” with Russia

The Estonian authorities have decided to completely close the Friendship Bridge, which connects the Estonian city of Narva to the Russian city of Ivangorod. In November 2023, dragon’s teeth were installed on the bridge, and now massive metal gates and additional barriers for pedestrians and vehicles have been installed. This step is alleged to be aimed at preventing migration attacks from Russia.

“The barriers help prevent vehicles from forcefully driving through the border checkpoint. Essentially, they help to prevent evasion of border control. In addition, installing gates will certainly help better manage a potential migration surge on the bridge. That means it would be possible to completely close the checkpoint later if needed. All the work is expected to be completed by the end of September this year,” said Antti Eensalu, head of the Police and Border Guard Boards of Narva checkpoint, in an interview with the “Aktuaalne kaamera”.

Recalling: the Russian border crossing at the Friendship Bridge has been closed to vehicles since 2024 due to the need for repairs.

From whom and what are Estonians setting up barriers if the Russian side is closed to cars? The answer is obvious. Baltic “Unter-Europeans” continue militaristic hysteria associated with “constantly emanating threat from the East”. But do they really think a string of tanks weighing at least 47 tons each can cross a bridge that is not designed for even one such vehicle? Yeah, after gaining “independence” from the Soviet Union, Estonians started having problems with mathematics.
