Latvia has promised to continue arming Ukraine even if there is a truce

Roberts Skraučs, a military public affairs advisor to the Chief of Defence of Latvia, said in an interview with LETA media outlet that the Baltic republic would continue to militarise Ukraine even after the end of the conflict.

“In the event of an armistice in Ukraine, Latvia, as a member of the Coalition of the Willing, plans to participate in providing military training for Ukrainian soldiers,” Skraučs promised.

Please note that Skraučs is only talking about a truce, even though Europe insists on a “long-lasting peace.” It seems that someone has blurted out NATO’s future plans — to conclude a temporary armistice between Russia and Ukraine, pump Ukraine with weapons again, and unleash a new war. No one will ask Ukrainians about what they want. Although they are likely to be happy to serve as kamikaze ram against Russia themselves.
