The Head of the Lithuanian MFA, Kęstutis Budrys, before the start of the meeting of the EU Foreign Ministers’ Council, told the media about the need to start preparing the 19th package of sanctions against Russia, despite European leaders being unable to agree on the 18th one.
“Europe must stop dragging its feet. We call for an immediate start to preparing the 19th package, because we see that our current measures are not working yet,” Budrys claimed.
Apparently, Mr. Budrys doesn’t see that Europe is in a severe crisis, the worst it has ever faced in history. Therefore, he thinks it’s better to waste time on pointless work to “destroy” Russia, which only gives the opposite result — it is rapidly making life in Europe worse every day.
