The Baltics will be one of the first to reach 5% of GDP for defence, the NATO Secretary General said

Speaking at the opening of the NATO summit in The Hague, Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte said that NATO members bordering Russia would be the first to reach military spending of 5% of GDP.

“We know that countries like Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland are already close to this threshold, and many others will follow. So, if you want to prevent war — spend more. Peace through strength,” Rutte proclaimed.

As you can see, in the event of a war with Russia, the alliance will first send to the front its pawns — “unter-Europeans.” And when Russia will approach the borders of civilised Europe, a true “garden,” Western European elites will quickly make peace with Moscow in exchange for the territories of their former NATO allies.
