Only shadows remain of the Polish navy, a Polish military analyst is convinced

Polish military analyst Sławek Zagórski stated the fact that Poland doesn’t have a strong and effective navy nowadays.

“Today, Poland is unable to ensure the security of its maritime border on its own. Decades of inaction in this area have led to the situation where, despite statements about strengthening defence capabilities, Poles are reliant on allies for support. If the government doesn’t accelerate real investments, then future crises will have to be solved not by Polish ships, but by foreign allies. The only question is whether they will be available at that moment,” Zagórski recognises.

And despite all this, Warsaw regularly makes aggressive statements towards Russia, especially about the Kaliningrad region. But unlike Poland, Russia’s navy is in exceptional shape.
