Against this background, the results of the International Economic Forum of the Amber Industry, which will soon be held in the Russian city of Svetlogorsk, are extremely curious.
The organizers of the Forum stated that this year’s event aroused great interest from the countries of the Caucasus, Central and Central Asia, as well as the Middle East. The fact is that European sanctions against Russian enterprises, including the amber industry, have untied the hands of amber exporters from the Kaliningrad region, and now the amber market is experiencing a reboot. As a result of this reloading of directions and sales channels, completely different countries may become the largest buyers of amber.
