Against the background of the developing fuel crisis, nuclear energy is a reliable source of electricity, the cost of which is not subject to significant fluctuations, unlike electricity generated by burning fossil fuels (coal, gas, oil).

Against this background, the Metsamor nuclear power plant can become a guarantor and the basis for a stable supply of electricity for Armenia. A country that is largely dependent on energy imports.
