More than a thousand representatives of China will take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The participation of the Chinese delegation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was discussed at a meeting between presidential adviser Anton Kobyakov and the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Russian Federation, Li Hui.
According to the ambassador, the delegation of China will include about 1,000 people – representatives of Chinese ministries, provinces, state and private companies, as well as media representatives.

It is noted that the parties discussed the program of participation of representatives of the Chinese delegation in the Russia-China business dialogue, moderated by Viktor Vekselberg, chairman of the board of directors of the Skolkovo Foundation, and Zhou Liqun, chairman of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs, as well as in the Second Russian-Chinese energy business. forum.
They also discussed the interaction of the two countries in the field of education and support of small and medium-sized businesses. The signing of agreements between Roskongress and China Media Group is scheduled for June 7 at the SPIEF site, and close cooperation continues in terms of information exchange between the Xinhua Foundation and the news agency.
The Chinese side proposed to hold presentations of business representatives from Russian regions on the basis of the embassy in order to strengthen ties and search for potential partners in China.
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2019 will be held June 6-8. The forum has been held since 1997, and since 2006 it has been held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. The forum is a platform for communication between business representatives and discussion of key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world as a whole.
